Besides our offering of tours, tastings and meal options, we also offer a variety of activities for day visitors (usually exclusive to guests in residence at La Verrière) with prior notice and subject to availability.

We now have a secure and enclosed bike shelter for bicycles, trailers and other related equipment, designed in conjunction with a top cycling pro. We also have an on-site charger for electric bikes and electric vehicles.
While you are staying at La Verrière, or visiting the property, you can explore the neighbouring villages and market towns of Vaison-la-Romaine, Séguret, Gigondas, Beaumes, Malaucène, and Crestet, by bike. With 48hrs notice, professional and semi-professional cycle hire can be arranged ahead of your visit. We even have an association with a company who can arrange cycle hire direct from our doorstep.
Bike & Wine are guided tours of the Dentelles de Montmirail on electric bicycle with a local guide: you can also depart with them by bike from Vaison La Romaine and have a guided cellar tour and tasting session of our wines in your choice of several languages, followed by lunch at the vineyard.

Hike & Wine are guided climbs to the crest of the Saint Amand at sunset. Depart from the village of Crestet, guided cellar tour in English, tasting of our Chêne Bleu wines, guided hike with picnic at sunset.
Price €25 per person - 2 working days notice required, subject to availability.
PS: Accessible to most hiking levels including beginners. For self-directed bikes and hikes, many trails of different lengths and levels of challenge depart from the estate. Why not take one of our picnics with you?

Take off from our helipad for a spin around the spectacular Dentelles de Montmirail, or land there from elsewhere and enjoy a bespoke lunch at the vineyard. To offset our carbon footprint in collaboration with our guests, we work with ForestPlanet ForestPlanet, an established regenerative organization that supports large scale, low cost-per-tree reforestation efforts all over the world. They help plant trees where they bring the most benefit to the region’s soil, habitat, the global environment, and local communities, and we have partnered with them for events that help educate people on the impact of their actions.

We can help you arrange a bespoke event: for weddings and other events we can seat up to 120 people, whilst our Tasting Room can host business meetings of up to 45 people.
You can privatize many different areas of the property, or you can choose to have exclusive use of the whole estate. Come just for the day, or if you want to extend your event, we can offer complete house hire, with accommodation for up to 18 guests sleeping in 7 bedrooms.

Chêne Bleu isn't only for adults. Your children can also enjoy touring our vineyard and cellar — we can usually adapt the tour to the age and interest level of the children so they feel included. The wine tasting is replaced by blind tasting of organic syrups! Please confirm their ages at the time of booking. For the younger set, we also have a Jungle Gym climbing frame on site (UNSUPERVISED).
