With nearly 30 years of experience, Ecocert is the world's leading specialist for audit and certification of organic products in more than 130 countries. European organic certification guarantees: climate and environment protection, conservation of soil fertility, preservation of biodiversity, respect of natural cycles and animal welfare, absence of use of chemical and synthetic products, absence of GMO, transparent labelling for consumers.
Bee-Friendly farming
This certification confirms that no bees were harmed in the making of this wine, another way of saying that no chemicals were used in and around the vineyard.
Hautes Valeurs
Our HVE Level 3 is the highest level of Hautes Valeurs Environnementales, the most prevalent French sustainability certification.

We were delighted to have received the Environment + Energy Leader award. This organization is dedicated to aligning environmental responsibility with profitable business practices.

PEFC [Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification]
We also collaborate with many like-minded organisations. These include: PEFC, a leading global alliance of national forest certification systems promoting sustainable forest management through independent third-party certification. Our partnership since early days has allowed us to pioneer sustainable agroforestry.

It’s a privilege and pleasure to be involved with The World Living Soils Forum, the high-profile initiative by Moët-Hennessy, and the Yale Sustainable Food Program, which count Nicole Rolet on their advisory boards.
The Regenerative Viticulture Foundation
We associate with The Regenerative Viticulture Foundation, a dynamic initiative to move away from monoculture and chemical-based practices, and advocate biodiversity protection and sustainable soil management processes as the now ‘conventional’ norm.
Porto Protocol
We signed the Porto Protocol, a commitment by certain wineries to adopting and sharing and best practices from around the world to reduce climate change and its impact.
ForestPlanet
To offset our carbon footprint in collaboration with our guests, we work with ForestPlanet, an established regenerative organization that supports large scale, low cost-per-tree reforestation efforts all over the world. They help plant trees where they bring the most benefit to the region’s soil, habitat, the global environment, and local communities, and we have partnered with them for events that help educate people on the impact of their actions.
Regional Park of the Mont Ventoux, UNESCO, University of Avignon
Our public-private partnership with the Regional Park of the Mont Ventoux allows us to work with their scientists to test and develop innovative approaches to sustainable development. This newly created Park was spearheaded by SMAEV, the entity that manages it, in association with the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the European Union’s Agricultural Fund for Development and Natura 2000. We also coordinate our work with the University of Avignon, and their students help us count our animal populations.
OFA, INRAE, LEV2050
We are very much enjoying our exchanges with the OFA [Observatoire Française de l’Apidologie]. Indeed, apiculture [the study of bees] is a crucial cornerstone of our SustainaBEElity initiative, including studying the effect of pollinators on yields and the use of propolis in the vineyard. To get the project off the ground and set up the protocols, we consulted with bee specialists at INRAE, UC Davis, University of Sussex, and the wonderful Laboratoire de l’Analyse Microbiologique des Sols [LAMS]. Meanwhile, with LEV2050, we conducted a groundbreaking study of the impact of pollinators on the spread of indigenous yeasts.
