A Little recap on A Lot of press from 2016!
... And the rollercoaster ride continues!
We made the front pages of both revered French wine publication Revue Vinicole Internationale and the weekend segment of Le Figaro (essential brunch reading for Francophones worldwide).
Our wines have also been featured in a panoply of press, from well-established blogs Clementine,Richard Mc Comb, WineBersekers, Goantolondon, to glossy magazines Foodism and Världens Viner (big in Sweden!), and some respected publications closer to home (ICV- Institut Coopératif du Vin and the locally-loved La Provence).
As the world goes ga-ga for premium rosés, our own cult rosé has been taking centre-stage, with some of the wine scene's most outspoken voices praising the seriousness of our direct press offering (Will Lyons from The Times, Jancis Robinson and Terre de Vins), with a host of international press taking note: Decanter, Stylist Magazine, Veritage Miami, Emotional-Escape.com, Provence Wine Zine, Livets Goda, Cosmopolitan UK, Miami Indulge Magazine and Blouin Artinfo.
Our Extreme Wine Experience also received a flood of press interest from Duvine, Wine-searcher.com, Food & Wine, Points North Atlanta, The Huffington Post and Colorado Avid Golfer.
Our special-edition, "Vieilles Vignes" Rosé, in collaboration with Pont des Arts, may have sold out in a month, but still managed to drum up interest in The Drinks Business, and industry oracle The Buyer (as well as a mention in an interview with wine consultant to the Rich & Famous, Douglas Blyde). It also received an outstanding 91 Robert Parker points from Rhône Royalty Jeb Dunnuck - woohoo!
As one of the founders of the Grenache Association, we love watching the reach of this often overlooked variety grow year-by-year: apart from a wonderful article by Jancis Robinson, as well as a lovely post by blogger Andy Abramson, days after celebrating International Grenache Day, the news broke that Grenache has joined the top five performing varieties in the US- this is a huge coup for a grape so recently underappreciated by the world at large. High Five, Team Grenache!
