Extreme Wine II @ La Verrière- June 2009 -

A delightful group converged from Chicago, Texas, London (via Singapore, California), Oxford, Rome, London, Canterbury, Hong Kong & Dublin.  Mixed levels of pre-existing wine knowledge (from veteran private collector to complete wine virgin) co-existed happily and they sped though the “hang-on-to your-hat” intensive curriculum and prepped for the exam.  A very studious and diligent group!  They really earned their great results!  Much merriment for the Wine Oscars night, where the inimitable Clive Barlow and Nick Dumergue, otherwise known as the CheneBlues Brothers, provided some welcome entrertainment for the Grand Finale Wine Oscars celebration…  Some guests (and hosts—hum hum) ending up in the Jacuzzi with their black tie garb…
